We are a team of flight simulation enthusiasts flying mainly on the IVAO network, but also on VATSIM, FSFDT, LR-LORR or other private servers. Our virtual airline is an international company. Our main hub is currently in France, at the Metz-Nancy-Lorraine airport (LFJL), our second hub is in Bordeaux Mérignac (LFBD). Click here to see a part of our fleet.

How many pilots are at Isomba Airlines and how can I become a member ?

We are now 16 pilots. End of 2005 we became a french speaking VA for friends. We will soon look for new members.

What software do I need to make virtual flights with Isomba Airlines ?

I would say the only payware you need is Flight Simulator (98, 2000, 2002, 2004 or FSX), or X-Plane or Fly!. But you will also have to download free tools to connect to the IVAO network. Most of us use FS Flight Keeper to report flights or FSPassengers. You may also use FSAcars or the IVAO PIREP formular from the VA System.

As a member you'll have access to a download page, to the forums of our virtual airlines with 7 custom style (see screenshots), a private messaging system and more...

Why did you create your own virtual airline company ?

The fact is that most pilots on IVAO and also in real world fly for an airline. Althought it's nice to fly your "private" B737 or whatever, we find it better to fly for our private and selfmade company, and share our knowledge and experience in the Isomba Airlines forum. But this does not mean that we fly exclusively for Isomba Airlines.

Can I download the aircrafts or repaints used by Isomba Airlines ?

Only as a member. The download section is protected by a password. This website is also hosted on a free server limited in bandwith, so we want to avoid heavy traffic.

What type of services does Isomba Airlines offer ?

- All type of air transports. The only limits are the sizes and weights of our planes.
- Photography and observation: there's a lot to see in Flight Simulator.
But don't forget, this is a virtual airline compagny. Learning and fun for the pilots... this is the main goal. So, there are no regulary flights from one airport to another. Isomba Air Command has been created for special operations.

Where do you fly ?

Worldwide. We fly on IVAO events and where we just want to fly.

How often do you fly ?

There's no limit. No minimum, no maximum, and depend only of the leisure time of the pilots.
